TASTE - Live Theatre Kitchen: another exciting development for the Australian Events Expo

No matter what the size, style and budget is for any event being organised, every event organiser understands that providing a positive food experience is one of the most important tasks to achieve. For many events, the food and its presentation are now considered one of the benchmarks by which guests measure their event experience. But where do you learn what you should be serving; what will and won't work for events and what's new in food so you are able to make your event memorable?

At the Australian Events Expo in May, TASTE - Live Theatre Kitchen has been developed as an exciting innovation which will provide visitors with education, information and inspiration on the food experience for their events. TASTE will be an interactive live theatre kitchen with a vibrant stage area set up as full demonstration kitchen for visitors to see, smell and taste great food ideas. TASTE will be presented by an array of chefs and caterers who will prepare motivating ideas in front of the audience as well as offering their top 'dos and don'ts'.  A full programme of sessions will run throughout the two days of the expo and will include a variety of topics from across the range of event catering requirements.

One of the first culinary teams to participate in TASTE is well recognized, premier caterer, Trippas White. Sydney based catering company, Trippas White have been catering for events for over seventeen years and provide excellent catering in a variety of locations as well as in prime Sydney venues such as the Art Gallery of NSW, Botanic Gardens Restaurant and the Mint. Executive Head Chef, John McFadden prides his menu selections on having a focus on healthy options and using locally sourced ingredients, while still being contemporary and stylish. Chef John tailors his menus to suit the needs and expectations of his guests and is thrilled that the Australian Events Expo has created TASTE so organisers can gain a better understanding of the how to provide sensational food at their next event.

Organisers of the Australian Events Expo have been developing an innovative programme of attractions and TASTE - Live Theatre Kitchen is only one of the many interactive components that will make this expo unique. Expect to see the full line up of chefs and caterers and the session details soon.
