Meetings & Events Australia partner with Australian Events Expo for the show Seminar Program
The Australian Events Expo organisers have announced their new relationship with Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) who are now the official partners of the Expo seminar program. With MEA's leadership role in industry education and training, this exciting partnership guarantees an informative and relevant seminar program covering a range of topics and aimed at all levels of experience within the industry. For the first time all seminars attendees will also earn accreditation points which will go towards an MEA Accreditation; official endorsement of your commitment and competency within your given field. The seminars will be held in conjunction with the Expo on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 May 2007 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour.
Building on the heritage of Sydney on Sale, the seminar program at the Australian Events Expo has developed into a series of educational sessions offering important, interesting and current content. Jon Hutchison, Managing Director for the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau told us "The seminar program is a very significant component of the Australian Events Expo. Based on last year's Sydney on Sale's attendees feedback the Australian Events Expo program will offer a selection of tutorials tailored to the various levels of expertise in the hospitality industry, making them significantly more valuable."
As MEA moves towards becoming a registered training organisation, their influence on the seminar program will be vital. Says MEA's CEO, Linda Gaunt..."Our intention is to profile our high calibre education and training and encourage those in the meetings and events industry to embrace ongoing education to improve and increase their skills with MEA as their training provider of choice".

The Australian Events Expo is a national show for the business, corporate, association, incentive and festival events industry and is being hosted by the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau. It will be held on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 May 2007 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
